John R. Miller,
Residential Designer and President of Miller
Homes, LLC is a third generation contractor
whose family has been designing and building
homes in the Pittsburgh area for over 100 years.
Mr. Miller began designing homes when he was just a
teenager for his family's business,
"William Miller & Sons". After the
business closed, Mr. Miller started his own
construction company, "John Miller Designs".
His work during this time included the
townhouses of Chapel Trail in Shaler, the luxury condominiums of Fox
Hall in O'Hara, and the luxury homes of
Allegheny Trails and Oakwood Estates in Hampton, Briarcliff Farms
and Guyasuta Park in O'Hara, and Jamesborough
and the
several other homes located throughout the Borough of Fox
Chapel.
Mr. Miller has
won several awards for his designs and is
considered one of the best residential
designers in the Pittsburgh area. As one
of the last contractors who designs and oversees
every home he builds, Mr. Miller pays extra
attention to detail and has made his niche
designing custom-built luxury dream homes for
people in and around the Fox Chapel area.
Mr.
Miller's sons, Glenn and Ronald, make them the
fourth generation of Miller builders.
In 2004,
John Miller Designs officially changed its
name to Miller Homes, LLC.
